Kihene Ko'oko'olau Tea

Notify me when this product is available:

Hawaiians used the tea to promote good health, cleanse the body, prevent strokes, diabetes, constipation, and revive the appetite. It was also used to help people with stomach problems, colon and bowel problems, and those with liver complications. Leaves of Ko’oko’olau are also used as a revitalizing tea to bolster those distressed by general debility. The flowers were used to stimulate appetite and often mixed with the Mamaki leaves to increase potency.

Ko'oko'olau is an endemic plant to the Hawaiian Islands. It grows in small bushes or shrub with yellow flowers.

.5oz bag of loose leaf Ko'oko'olau tea.

Great service

They were out of stock when I first tried to order. I was put on a wait list an was promptly notified when inventory became available a few weeks later. Delivery was quick and I was able to enjoy the tea shortly thereafter. The tea tasted better than the ko'oko'olau tea I picked, dried, and drank decades ago. Good quality!
